Cacaxtla

One of the important aspects of the architecture of the great platform is the great number of pillars, whose remains are still visible. These were decorated with murals and reliefs in clay and stucco, like the one we see here. The individual represented on this pillar is richly attired from the waist down and plants seem to emerge from his feet.
