We are developing these online, multimedia, searchable dictionaries of indigenous languages of Mesoamerica, historical and modern, at the Wired Humanities Projects. The Nahuatl dictionary is currently supported by a three-year grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities (2009-12) for Documenting Endangered Languages. John Sullivan, co-PI, and his team in Zacatecas are participating. We are using the template from that database to build the additional dictionaries (all are still under construction). We are striving to create Spanish-language and indigenous-language interfaces for these websites. These are all collaborative efforts involving many people. We welcome your participation. Please write Stephanie Wood (swood AT uoregon DOT edu) if you would like to join any of these efforts.

Feel free to browse the dictionaries!
